What is Roasters?

Roasters is a specialty coffee discovery app that maps 23,000+ cafés and roasters across 126 countries. Every shop on Roasters is added and reviewed by the community — baristas, roasters, and the people who live for specialty coffee.

Is Roasters free?

Yes. Roasters is free to download on iOS and Android. A Pro tier is available with advanced filters, unlimited list creation, Forums access, and other power features.

How is Roasters different from Google Maps?

Google Maps lists every coffee shop, chains included. Roasters lists only specialty cafés and roasters — light-roasted, single-origin, dialled-in espresso. No algorithmic ranking, no paid placements. Every entry is curated by the coffee community.

How many cafés are on Roasters?

More than 23,000 specialty cafés and roasters across 126 countries and 3,601 cities, with new shops added daily by the community.

Can I add a café or roaster to Roasters?

Yes. Anyone in the community can submit a café or roaster. Submissions are reviewed before going live to keep Roasters focused on specialty coffee.

Can shop owners claim their café?

Yes. Owners, managers, and employees can claim their café's profile to manage hours, photos, menu, and equipment, and reply to reviews. The app also includes a dedicated job board for specialty coffee roles.

What can I do in the app?

Find specialty cafés and roasters in any city, filter by what is open now, nearest, or newest, save shops to lists, log every visit to your coffee passport, score and photograph the coffee, browse public lists from the community, and talk shop in the Forums.
